Product Overview
Description
Our Accolades III Tapestry depicts an accolade—a ceremony to confer knighthood first depicted in the famous painting by British artist Edmund Leighton circa 1901. The noble ritual is carried out with a knight-elect kneeling at the feet of a monarch, or Queen as depicted here. With her resplendent gown and flowing hair, she is shown gently placing her sword on the shoulder of the knight-to-be. Our tapestry is replicated in the same rich hues and royal colors of the original. The tapestry will wonderfully weave a bit of history into your curated or traditional décor. Composed of 80% cotton, the tapestry also has a blend of viscose and polyester added for softness and luster. Ready to hang. Imported.
