Vase Chambord Framboise French woven tapestry wallhanging features an image taken from a set of wallcoverings designed by Jean Germain Soufflot (1713-1780) and Maurice Jacques (1712-1784).
The original tapestry was woven in Jacques
Neilson’s workshops at the Manufacture of
Gobelins between 1764 and 1771, for George
William, sixth earl of Coventry.
